Register a domain name! How? Simply go to any registrar and follow their steps. What is a registrar? A registrar is a company geared to the registristion and maintenance of domain names. The registrar tells the world how owns a given domain name, etc. A well known registrar is Network Solutions (www.NetworkSolutions.com).

During the registration process you will need an important piece of information from us, our Name Servers. What is a Name Server? A Name Server simply tells the person/machine browsing for a particular domain name where to go. Please note the following:

If you DO HAVE a domain name ...

You will simply need to modify the Name Servers listed with your registrar. This can be easier said than done! If you remember where your domain name was registered and have access information, you will be in great shape. If you forgot where you registered the domain name and/or lost your access information, you may want to contact us!

What is a Name Server? A Name Server simply tells the person/machine browsing for a particular domain name where to go.

Use our Automated Sign Up form to setup and process your new account with Computer Integrity. After clicking on the Automated Sign Up link, you will see a new form listing our different hosting packages.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select your package from the drop-down list and click on GO button. You will see the listing of our Name Servers as listed in Step ONE. Simply click on PROCEED WITH ACCOUNT SETUP button. Enter your desired Login and Domain Name (i.e. YourName.com).

If the domain name does not exist on our servers, you will be prompted to enter a Password, Email Address and other Personal Information. NOTE - You will not be prompted for Credit Information at this time. After completing the requested information, simply click on the Create Domain button. Your account will be created automatically and a new form/page will appear with important information. Note - This information/form will also be emailed to you.

NOTE - None of the links listed in the form will work until your Name Servers have been updated and propagated (i.e. about 24hrs from update). Although your links may not work, you can still access your Control Panel by using the CP Login link listed at the top of the Computer Integrity web site and/or clicking here.

Login to your Control Panel using the login/password your provided in Step TWO and submit your credit card information. NOTE - If we do not receive your credit card information within one business day, your newly created account will be automatically removed from our servers.

To submit credit card information, simply use the menu options on the left-side of the page and click on Payments > Payments. Once your credit card information has been received, we will create a Host Header for your account. What is a Host Header? Simply stated, a Host Header will allow you to view your site BEFORE your domain name Name Servers update/propagate. This is very beneficial if you want your site ready before your domain name crosses-over to our servers. After your Host Header has been setup, you will receive an email with the appropriate information.

For example, if you own AcmeWidgets.com and have ...

1. recently modified Name Server information
2. setup a new account using the Automated Setup Process
3. submitted Credit Card information

... You would receive a link via email pointing to the new site using a given Host Header (i.e. http://AcmeWidgets.ciihost.com ... Note - ciihost.com is owned by Computer Integrity Inc.).

At this point your account is setup and ready-to-go!:) Now, have some fun! For more information regarding the menu options located on the left-side of the Control Panel, you can select the Help link in the upper-right corner of the page.
